Ceremonial Guard first Changing of the Guard Ceremony postponed to July 10

Please be aware that the Ceremonial Guard will now perform the first Changing of the Guard ceremony for the 2017 season on Monday, July 10, at 10 a.m., (vice Friday, July 7th ).  The delay is the result of unexpected reparations required following the Canada Day festivities held on the lawns of Parliament Hill. In its 58th season, the Changing the Guard ceremony is the most recognized military tradition in Ottawa, and has attracted thousands of visitors to Parliament Hill since the first mount in 1959.
